I needed to have knee surgery to fix some broken and out of place cartilage. Dr. Fuchs was kind, explained all my options really well and even gave me pictures of the inside of my knee after! Highly recommend him and his team!
Dr. Fuchs performed a robotic assisted total knee replacement, I was very skeptical when I made the decision to go ahead with the procedure, but within 6 weeks I was at 130 degrees range of motion and full extension. My incision is healing great and barely noticeable. Through the whole recovery I never used the narcotic pain killers, acetaminophen and ibuprofen were able to keep the discomfort to a minimum. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience.
Dr. Robin Fuchs performed a total hip replacement of my right hip six weeks ago. I feel that Dr. Fuchs and his staff were very thorough in preparing me for the whole process—including preparation before the surgery, the day of the surgery and the postoperative recovery process. I must admit that the first week was challenging, especially dealing with pain and the resulting constipation from narcotic medication. However, I ceased taking the narcotics on day six and by the end of week 2 conditions really began to improve. Pain, stiffness and mobility had dramatically improved by the end of week 3 and continue to get better almost daily. Thank goodness for the improvement and many thanks to Dr. Fuchs and his staff.
Dr. Fuchs was very patient, kind, and helpful.
Checking in at surgery center was a breeze…staff and docs were great…felt great day one and two and then day three was a real struggle. All pain meds given during surgery wore off. Started taking Tylenol and OxyContin every four hours. Waiting for pain levels to turn corner. Day five want to take bandage off and check things out.
I had a total knee replacement with Dr. Fuchs. The process was done very well and nine weeks post operative finds me with no pain at all. Going into the surgery I had some concerns but Dr. Fuchs and his team prepared me well as to what I could expect pain wise and together we made it. I need another knee done and I would not hesitate in the slightest to go through this process again with Dr. Fuchs. Update: three years later and had the other knee done. No two surgeries are the same, but I was in such pain going into the surgery, I knew I could tolerate a few weeks more to get on the healing side. Nine weeks out, and I am so much better. Still need Physical Therapy and am seeing improvement everyday. I wish I would have had these surgeries a decade ago instead of limping around all that time.
It has been a year since my knee replacement. I just had my 1 year post-op appointment with Dr. Fuchs. We are both happy with my progress. It is wonderful to be able to walk without pain now. I still have more work going up and down stairs and hiking on uneven surfaces, but I will get there. Dr. Fuchs' did a great job preparing me for the recovery process after the operation. I am so glad that I did it through his office.
Dr. Robin Fuchs and his wonderful smile made me feel completely at ease from the start. He listened so well that he practically read my mind, when I mentioned no more injections, he immediately suggested another doctor who could better help with my sciatica pain. Even though I came in for my knee, he thoughtfully referred me to physical therapy for sciatica exercises as well. I’m really hoping these next steps work in my favor!
I was able to get an appointment quickly and the staff was great to work with.
Dr. Fuchs’ interaction puts you so much ease to ask any question and concern and he would go over all the questions thoroughly explaining the pros and cons. One of a kind surgeon that we are so glad to have found him.
