Dr. Fuchs was great from the start. He took the time to explain my injury and helped me understand exactly what happened to my knee. He walked me through my options, broke down the severity of each injury, and clarified what required surgery and what didn’t. I had all the knowledge and information I needed to make an informed decision, and he stayed available to guide me and answer any questions throughout the process. My procedure went well, and I’m now on the road to recovery. I’m truly grateful to have him and his team as my partners and caretakers, and I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring surgeon in his field.
Recently had meniscus surgery with Robin Fuchs at Proliance in Kirkland Washington. It is now one week later and I am pretty much good as new. Everything went really easy Peezy. No pain. Biggest discomfort was the.Ace bandage. Robin has done two other surgeries for me, full knee replacement and rotator cuff. Both were much more involved, but I’ve had wonderful results with those also. It’s been 14 years since my knee was done
8 Year's ago I snapped my right bicep and Doctor Fuchs repaired it. This repaired turned out perfectly. 7 weeks ago I snapped my left bicep and Dr Fuchs repaired this bicep as well. My surgery went well both times and the staff and surgery center was very comfortable. I am so pleased with my results and have no hesitation about referring this Doctor or the Facility. This last repair was only 2 weeks from my injury date and the healing is much better the sooner you get to the repair. I have full extension already and no pain at all. Pt is going great too.
Dr. Fuchs and his team are fantastic. I was very nervous going into my knee replacement surgery, but the expertise, knowledge and friendliness of the staff alleviated my fears. They did a wonderful job on my knee and even though I’m only six weeks out and I’m still recovering and doing physical therapy, it has already improved my quality of life. My advice to anyone who is about to embark on this journey- be patient and trust the process. The first couple weeks are tough, but if you do what you’re told regarding protocols to combat infection and if you start moving right away, you will be rewarded tenfold. Thank you Dr. Fuchs for giving me my life back! I am eternally grateful! 😊
My journey was marvellous, everything went very well with my entire surgery journey. The whole procedure was done very professionally and with much empathy for the patient.
There isn't a knee surgeon on this planet that I would trust more than Dr. Robin Fuchs. If you have any reservations, don't. My (long) story follows: I have been a patient of Dr. Fuchs since 2004. I was 23 at the time and I ruptured the patellar tendon in BOTH my Right and Left Knee. I came in to Evergreen Orthopedic (at that time), to see my previous knee surgeon who did not have time to see me and do the surgery. He had Dr. Fuchs see me instead. None of the surgeons had seen this injury on both legs at the same time, including Dr. Fuchs. (To this day it is the one and only bilateral patellar tendon repair that Dr. Fuchs has ever done! 21 years later!) He took the time to speak to me and my mom and answer all of our questions. He explained what the surgery would entail and sent me downstairs for an MRI. Not even 15 minutes after the MRI was complete, Dr. Fuchs called me and said "I will see you tomorrow morning at 6am at the hospital!" He had scheduled the surgery for the next morning. Surgery was more complicated than expected and took about 2 hours longer than planned. I came out of surgery with casts from hip to heel on both legs, 40 staples in each 8 inch incision, a wheel chair and a walker. I was in the hospital for 6 days and Dr. Fuchs visited me daily. He had an incredible bedside manor that helped me through one of the most traumatic times in my life. Two weeks post surgery, on my 23rd birthday, I had the initial casts and staples removed and new casts placed, 1 Blue and 1 Purple. At 6 weeks, casts were removed and braces were put on. Physical Therapy started and 1 year later I could finally walk on my own. I saw Dr. Fuchs for a follow up about 2 years post surgery and haven't needed to see him since, though I have referred my grandmother to him for knee replacements and countless friends and family. Fast Forward to April 2025 (21 years and some change) and I took a bad fall. I called Dr. Fuchs office and they got me in the next day. Dr. Fuchs walked into the exam room and ACTUALLY remembered me, my surgery and the color of my casts! That is a great Doctor and an incredible human! Thank you Robin! You and your team are amazing!
Dr. Robin Fuchs performed a total hip replacement of my right hip six weeks ago. I feel that Dr. Fuchs and his staff were very thorough in preparing me for the whole process—including preparation before the surgery, the day of the surgery and the postoperative recovery process. I must admit that the first week was challenging, especially dealing with pain and the resulting constipation from narcotic medication. However, I ceased taking the narcotics on day six and by the end of week 2 conditions really began to improve. Pain, stiffness and mobility had dramatically improved by the end of week 3 and continue to get better almost daily. Thank goodness for the improvement and many thanks to Dr. Fuchs and his staff.
Dr Fuchs explained very clearly what was wrong and what the intended treatment was. The day of surgery the entire staff was relaxed and clearly explained what to expect. I felt better within a day or so. I had no surprises and healed quickly. I feel lucky to have been cared for here and would send a family member. This is a good place to go.

He and his staff were thorough in preparing me for the whole process from preparing to the day of the surgery to the recovery process. I must admit that the first week was very challenging dealing with the pain and constipation due to the narcotic medication. Fortunately, I was able to abandon the narcotic on the sixth day and conditions improved significantly by the end of week 2. Currently, pain, stiffness and mobility are improving almost daily. Thank goodness and thanks to Dr. Fuchs and his staff.
I’m 6 weeks post op from rotary cuff surgery and appreciate the excellent care I've received from Dr. Fuchs and both his surgical and clinic teams. My surgery went great and I had minimal to no pain due to the nerve block I received before surgery. I appreciate the cautious approach to my recovery, and am encouraged by the progress I have made thus far through diligent physical therapy. I highly recommend Dr. Fuchs.
